1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, browsing, purchasing, or using Aurora Hunt, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Aurora Hunt is intended for users aged 14 and older. If you are under the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, or below the age at which you can lawfully consent to relevant online services under local law, you may use Aurora Hunt only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian where required.

2. About Us

Aurora Hunt is provided by Leveling PRO, Suite 304, 142a Saintfield Road, Lisburn BT27 6UH, Northern Ireland, UK. References to “we,” “our,” or “us” in these Terms refer to Leveling PRO.

3. Nature of the Service

Aurora Hunt helps users follow aurora-related conditions such as geomagnetic activity, cloud context, location-based alerts, forecasts, maps, and optional AI-generated summaries or explanations where available. Forecasts and recommendations are informational tools only.

The service may use device permissions and external data feeds, including precise GPS location, NOAA / NWS Space Weather Prediction Center data, weather data delivered by the Norwegian Meteorological Institute / Yr, and push-notification infrastructure such as Firebase Cloud Messaging.

Aurora Hunt is not an emergency service, travel guarantee, safety service, or a promise that aurora will be visible at any given time or place.

4. Accounts, Permissions, and User Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information and to use the app and website lawfully. If you enable location, notifications, or saved preferences, you are responsible for configuring those settings appropriately for your use case.

You must not misuse Aurora Hunt, interfere with service operation, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer the app except where permitted by law, or use the service in a way that harms us or other users.

5. Forecast, Alert, and Outdoor Safety Disclaimer

Aurora conditions depend on many variables, including solar activity, cloud cover, local weather, light pollution, geography, and rapid environmental changes. Aurora Hunt does not guarantee that a forecast, score, alert, or recommendation will result in visible aurora.

You remain solely responsible for your personal safety, route planning, driving decisions, weather awareness, equipment use, and compliance with local laws when chasing aurora or traveling to viewing locations.

6. Optional AI Features

If Aurora Hunt offers AI-generated summaries, explanations, or trip-planning assistance, those outputs may use OpenAI and Google Gemini to help interpret environmental, forecast, and timing data in a more user-friendly format. These outputs are automated and may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate.

AI outputs are provided for convenience and should not be treated as guaranteed scientific, legal, travel, safety, or emergency advice.

You must not submit unlawful content, sensitive personal data, or third-party personal data through optional AI tools unless you are legally authorized to do so.

7. Paid Services, Subscriptions, and Lifetime Access

Access to certain features may require payment. At the time of these Terms, Aurora Hunt may offer the following U.S. pricing: $4.99 per week, $39.99 per year, and $99 lifetime access. Prices may vary by platform, territory, taxes, currency, or future promotional changes.

At the time of these Terms, Aurora Hunt does not include a free trial by default unless one is explicitly shown at the point of purchase. If no trial is shown, payment is charged immediately upon confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the applicable renewal deadline through your app store account settings. Lifetime access refers to the lifetime of the service, not the lifetime of any individual user.

Payments are generally processed by Apple, Google, or another storefront or payment provider. Refunds, cancellations, billing disputes, and chargebacks may be subject to the applicable store's policies. We do not store full card details.

Where required by local law, we will provide pre-contract information, renewal disclosures, and cancellation information relevant to the applicable subscription model. You are responsible for reviewing the subscription terms shown to you at the point of purchase.

8. Intellectual Property

All app and website content, including trademarks, source code, layouts, graphics, copy, databases, software logic, and product design, are owned by us or used under license and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You do not acquire ownership rights by using Aurora Hunt.

9. Third-Party Services and Data Sources

Aurora Hunt may rely on third-party platforms, app stores, cloud hosting, analytics tools, mapping layers, notification providers, space-weather models, weather data, or AI providers, including NOAA / NWS Space Weather Prediction Center, the Norwegian Meteorological Institute / Yr, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Apple, and Google. We are not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, inaccurate third-party data, or delayed third-party processing.

10. Termination and Suspension

We may suspend or terminate access to Aurora Hunt if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for the service or other users, or used the product in a fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful way.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aurora Hunt is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

12. Disclaimers

12.1 Unpredictability of Space Weather

Aurora Hunt provides auroral forecasts based on solar wind data and geomagnetic models. The Aurora Borealis and Aurora Australis are highly volatile natural phenomena. We do not guarantee that the aurora will be visible at any specific location or time, regardless of the probability scores or alerts generated by the App. Local weather conditions (such as cloud cover) may entirely obstruct visibility.

12.2 Hazards of Outdoor, Ocean, and Wilderness Activities

Using the App for outdoor pursuits—including but not limited to chasing auroras, surfing, hiking, or winter travel—often requires traveling to remote areas, navigating in extreme weather, dark conditions, or unpredictable ocean environments. These activities carry significant inherent risks, including but not limited to vehicle accidents, getting stranded, hypothermia, frostbite, drowning, encounters with wildlife, and severe bodily injury or death.

12.3 Assumption of Risk and Personal Responsibility

The data, forecasts, and AI interpretations provided by the App are strictly for informational and planning purposes only and must not replace your own judgment. You explicitly assume all risks associated with your outdoor activities. You are solely responsible for your own safety, preparation, and navigation. Always verify information with official local weather authorities, assess actual physical conditions, carry appropriate safety and emergency gear, and obey all local laws and warnings.

12.4 Complete Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Leveling PRO, its developers, and affiliates assume absolutely no liability for any personal injury, death, property damage, vehicle damage, or financial loss incurred while engaging in any outdoor, ocean, or wilderness activity (e.g., aurora chasing, surfing, etc.) based on information, maps, AI summaries, or notifications provided by the App. Your decision to rely on the App is entirely at your own risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages arising from or related to Aurora Hunt, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, lost business opportunities, travel expenses, accommodation costs, fuel costs, missed events, missed aurora viewing opportunities, personal inconvenience, equipment loss, route or trip changes, weather-related losses, reliance on alerts, reliance on AI outputs, or reliance on third-party data sources.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that you use Aurora Hunt entirely at your own risk and that any decisions or actions taken based on the service are your sole responsibility. Our aggregate liability for claims related to paid services will not exceed the amount you paid to us for Aurora Hunt in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Governing Law and U.S. Arbitration Notice

These Terms are governed by English law, except where mandatory local consumer law requires otherwise. For users in the United States, any dispute that cannot be resolved informally may be subject to binding individual arbitration and a class action waiver to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer, privacy, or digital services laws in the EEA, UK, United States, or other jurisdictions.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Aurora Hunt after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
